StadiumWatch enquiries forced an admission from the the Dearne Valley Leisure Trust, a partner with the DMBC in the Lakeside Sports Complex LLP, that they paid just £1 into the Lakeside Sports Complex LLP, which they did at the urging of DMBC lawyers in the hope of securing for the LLP exemption from the public scrutiny allowed under the Freedom of Information Act. This featured as a headline article in the Doncaster Star on 23rd February 2007.
